ADMISSION AND TICKET COUNTERS
At the ticket counter you will find information in Italian and English about
- fares ok tickets;
- information and MIC Card rates;
- categories of those admitted with reduced or free admission;
- access conditions;
- notification of any inefficiencies.
Although the historical character of the buildings prevents, in some cases, the total removal of architectural barriers, the museums work to ensure access to their historical and artistic heritage by the widest possible public.
Wardrobe service is free of charge, included in the ticket price, and self-managed.
In order to protect the works of art, the staff may request that bulky bags, backpacks, umbrellas and other potentially harmful objects be left in the wardrobe area.
Items left in the self-service wardrobe must be collected before the museums close.
The use of a baby pram is admitted inside the museum.
EDUCATIONAL AND GUIDED TOURS
A guided tour service is available in several languages, for a fee and by prior arrangement, with a choice of museum and/or exhibition route. For information and reservations: 060608 daily from 9.00 to 19.00.
The museum staff provides visitors with information on the museum's routes, services and events and checks that the museum's rules of behaviour are respected. At the museum sites there is constant and direct supervision and control of the collections, also during exhibitions, concerts, conferences and other cultural activities.
Small shop selling editorial products related to the museum and other museums. Also on sale is a small selection of postcards highlighting the museum's splendid blend of classical art and machines.
Museum guides and catalogues can be purchased online.
The bookshop also offers a selection of objects inspired by the Museums' collections.
The Charter contains the basic principles, the description of the services active in the System, the list of the Museums with the main information (address, website, telephone, opening hours, ticket prices, services active in the museum, access for disabled people), the role of the Manager and the index matrix for the validation of the standards.
Consultation of the archive, photographic and film reproductions, reproduction of images on any medium and for any use.
INSIDE THE MUSEUM IS FORBIDDEN :
- take photographs with flash or tripod. In the case of exhibitions it is not possible to take photographs;
- use video cameras;
- to enter with bulky bags or backpacks;
- enter with umbrellas;
- bring in pets, except for small dogs in carriers;
- consume food and drink;
